What you need

frozen waffles

lb breakfast sausage

organic eggs

cup shredded cheddar

cup liquid egg whites

tsp garlic powder

tsp black pepper

tsp table salt

cup milk
Instructions
2 Toast the waffles until firm enough to cube; cut into small pieces. 1 Cook the sausage in a skillet until browned. Drain and let cool slightly. 3 Whisk the egg mixture — eggs, egg whites, milk, salt, pepper, and optional garlic/onion powder. 4 Prep a 12-count muffin tin with nonstick spray or silicone liners. 5 Add waffle cubes evenly to each well. 6 Add sausage over the waffle cubes. 7 Top with cheese. 8 Pour egg mixture into each well, filling almost to the top. 9 Bake at 350°F for 18–22 minutes until set and lightly golden. 10 Cool completely, loosen edges with a knife, and pop out.View original recipe
