0 Preheat your oven to 400°F 1 Boil the peeled and diced Yukon Gold potatoes in a large pot of salted water until they are fork-tender. 2 Drain the potatoes 3 In the same pot, warm the milk, cream cheese, and butter over low heat until the mixture is well combined and smooth. 4 Return the potatoes to the pot, season with salt, pepper + garlic powder. 5 Mash the potatoes with a potato masher or use a hand mixer for a smoother consistency. 6 Transfer the mashed potatoes to a baking dish. 7 Top the mashed potatoes with crispy fried onions, cover and bake for 15 minutes. 8 Uncover the poatoes and coninue baking for another 5-10 minutes or until the onions get golden brown and crispy. 9 Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, and then serve your delicious mashed potatoes.View original recipe
