What you need

cup cottage cheese

cup quick oats

tbsp maple syrup

vanilla protein powder
tbsp apple pie spice

cup applesauce

tsp vanilla extract

cup water

tsp cinnamon
Instructions
1 Preheat the waffle iron 0 Blend all of the waffle ingredients together in a food processor or blender for about 1 minute or until the mixture is smooth. 2 Spray the waffle iron with non stick spray and add about 1/3 cup of the mixture into the waffle iron, cook for 3-4 minutes or until the waffle is browned. 3 While the waffles are cooking- chop the apples (I left the skin on) and add to a small pot with 1/4 cup of water, 2 tbsp maple syrup + 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Cook the apples over a medium heat until tender, about 10 mins. 4 Once the waffles are done- add one whole waffle into each meal prep contianer with about 1/3 cup of apples. 5 Reheat for 120 seconds and top with maple syrup if desired! 6 Store in the fridge for up to 4 days!View original recipe
