We’re talking pre-cooked chicken sausages (I love Adele’s garlic or Italian ones), stuffed with cheese, tossed with peppers and onions, and baked in my favorite marinara (shoutout to Mezzetta—so good). That’s it. That’s the meal. And trust me, it hits every time.

Preheat oven to 400°F.
Slice sausages down the middle lengthwise (but not all the way through).
Stuff each sausage with a piece of string cheese and place in a baking dish.
Scatter sliced peppers and onion around the sausages.
Spoon about 1 tablespoon of marinara sauce over each stuffed sausage.
Drizzle with olive oil, and season everything with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and veggies are tender.
Serve over your choice of noodles, zoodles, or potatoes—or enjoy on its own!
